CustodyBuddy was created to empower parents navigating the challenges of high-conflict custody battles and post-separation abuse. We recognize the emotional, financial, and legal difficulties that come with dealing with a toxic ex and strive to provide a comprehensive platform that simplifies documentation and communication while prioritizing the well-being of children.
Our Founder
CustodyBuddy was founded by Danielle Catherine Pike, a dedicated mother, entrepreneur, and advocate for parents facing legal and emotional battles in custody disputes. With firsthand experience navigating a high-conflict separation, Danielle understands the importance of accurate documentation, strategic communication, and access to reliable resources. She does this out of the goodness of her heart, wanting to provide free resources to help those struggling through a high-conflict divorce and custody battle.
Danielle’s journey has been one of resilience and transformation. Diagnosed with Stargardt disease at 18, she faced the challenge of losing her central vision, altering her dreams of a career in graphic design. Instead of allowing this to limit her, she adapted—first by mastering hairstyling despite her visual impairment and later by immersing herself in technology, AI automation, and social media marketing. CustodyBuddy is her passion project, a way of turning pain into power, using her struggles to uplift others in similar situations.
During her high-conflict divorce and custody battle, Danielle struggled with using alcohol as a coping mechanism. However, she made the decision to break free from that cycle and is now committed to helping others do the same. She wants parents to know that they can get through this while staying sober and not allowing the other parent to weaponize their struggles as a "get out of jail free" card. Her personal experience fuels her commitment to helping parents protect their rights and their children’s best interests while maintaining their dignity and strength.
